South East Asian Animal Science Student Networking ( SEAASS - Net ) is a communication media of animal husbandry students in Southeast Asia who was born on October 10th, 2012. At that time, as many as 13 representatives of various universities in Indonesia, namely Polytechnic of Jember, IPB, UGM, UIN SUSKA Riau, UMM, Unja, Unila, Unisla, Unisma, Kanjuruhan University of Malang, Padjadjaran University, Unsoed, and Unram, came following the declaration process SEAASS-Net held at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry IPB marked with resultant Bogor Declaration.

Prime activity was performed Feed International Seminar (IFS) on October 10th, 2012 with the theme "Integration of Livestock Production and Oil Palm Plantation", as a result of cooperation between the Student Association of the Department of Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology (Himasiter), Faculty of Animal Husbandry Bogor Agricultural Universityand SEAASS-Net. The objective of establishing SEAASS-Net is 1) to establish lines of communication andinformation between animal husbandry students majoring in Southeast Asia for the purpose of cooperation in mutually beneficial academic, 2) assess and provide solutions to issues in the field of animal husbandry, 3) make a real contribution to the community in the scientific field of animal husbandry.

Major annual work program SEAASS-Net is the annual meeting includes the following main activities, namely internship, paper presentation, and general assembly. Uniqueness of SEAASS-Net activitiesis the internship organized by the hosts with minimum time at least one week. Through the annual meeting also each board of SEAASS-Net of the university will present the village service programs (community development) that have been implemented in each area for one year. The 1st Annual Meeting of SEAASS - Net event held at UiTM Perlis this year became a model for the Annual Meeting of SEAASS-Net next year through some improvements. The presence and active involvement of various universities in Southeast Asia in next year's annual meeting is expected so that members of SEAASS-Net will widespread with more significant roles produced.
