AFENUE: Animal Feed and Nutrition Modelling Research Group
The Animal Feed and Nutrition Modelling (AFENUE) Research Group focuses on studying the interface between animal science and mathematics, statistics and computer science in order to advance quantitative understanding regarding animal agriculture. The program covers modelling of all terrestrial domesticated animals such as beef cattle, dairy cattle, buffalo, sheep, goat, and poultry. Our primary instruments to study the above research are meta-analysis, machine learning, mechanistic modeling, and system dynamics.
